Here in Central Illinois, the weather can change at a moments notice, so please be prepared for anything.  The parade will proceed rain or shine, unless there is lightning in the area.  The evening show, however, is subject to being postponed.  If it is postponed, we will always attempt to hold the show the following night.  However, if the weather still doesn't want to cooperate, we may have to postpone it further or cancel it altogether.  If weather conditions are questionable, please check this web site or listen to local radio and television for any announcements.  We have had to postpone only twice in our history, so we've got a pretty good record going.

The average high for July 4th is 82 degrees.  The average low is 61 degrees.  The average precipitation the month of July is 4.67 inches.
