Make a difference

Each year, the Champaign County Freedom Celebration, made up entirely of volunteers, sets out to host a celebration of our American heritage.  We are funded entirely through donations.  The Committee receives no funding from any governmental bodies.  Only donations from people like you and a few select area businesses make this celebration possible!

Since it's inception some fifty-five years ago, the celebration has grown in size and popularity.  Featuring one of the largest and most entertaining parades in the area and the biggest fireworks show for miles around, the Champaign County Freedom Celebration strives to put on a truly great and memorable show.  But we can't do it without your help!  The celebration typically costs around $85,000 to present.

Many people are not aware of it, but the entire Champaign County Freedom Celebration is funded by donations.  It is only through your donations that we are able to provide these annual events.  The money raised this year will go toward funding next years show.
